This policy explains what information Mak Agency Inc. ("we", "us") collects through this website and through the internal tools we operate, and how we use it.

This website

makinsurancehawaii.com is an informational site. It does not have contact forms, accounts, or logins, and it does not set tracking cookies or run advertising or analytics scripts. We do not collect personal information through this site.

Links on this site to geico.com (for example, "Get a Free Quote") take you to a website operated by GEICO. Information you enter there is governed by GEICO's own privacy policy, not this one.

Our hosting provider may keep standard server logs (such as IP address, browser type, and pages requested) for security and performance purposes. We do not use those logs to identify visitors. The site loads its typefaces from Google Fonts, which means your browser requests those font files from Google; Google's privacy policy applies to that request.

Because this site does not track visitors, it does not change its behavior in response to browser "Do Not Track" signals; there is nothing to turn off.

Phone, email, and office visits

If you call, email, or visit our office, we use the information you give us to answer your questions and to help you with your insurance needs. Information related to a GEICO policy or quote is handled in GEICO's systems under GEICO's privacy practices.

Internal tools that connect to Google services

We operate internal reporting tools (for example, "Mak Ads Reporting") that connect to Google services such as the Google Ads API. These tools:

  • are used only by Mak Agency Inc. staff and are not offered to the public;
  • access only Google accounts that Mak Agency Inc. owns or is authorized to manage;
  • read advertising performance data (campaigns, keywords, conversions, call reporting) to produce reports, and make campaign changes (for example, adding negative keywords) as part of routine, agency-managed account upkeep;
  • may receive the phone numbers of people who call us from an ad, as reported by Google. We use those numbers only to respond to the inquiry and to measure which ads lead to business. We do not use them for marketing lists;
  • store authorization tokens on Mak Agency Inc. equipment and do not send them to any service other than Google;
  • share account reports only with the owner of the advertising account concerned and the people they have authorized to manage it. We do not sell data.

Access granted to these tools can be revoked at any time from the connected Google account's third-party apps and services settings.

If this policy changes, the updated version will be posted on this page with a new "last updated" date.
